Crossfire was established in 2012 to provide specialist fire engineering and fire safety consulting services to the property and construction industry. We believe that fire safety can be best addressed in a holistic fashion by considering the client's objectives (eg: code compliance, business continuity, property protection) and developing a fire safety strategy for the project that is integrated into the overall building design, rather than being a last-minute add-on. Early in the design development, we consider whether the best fit for the project will be to follow the prescriptive 'acceptable solutions' or to undertake a specifically engineered solution using a performance based approach. The latter is likely to be most applicable to complex or unusual building designs but may equally be appropriate for a more strait-forward design. Our experience is based on years spent in the building industry. We provide the following services:
