Kirsty Cameron

Fire Engineer

Kirsty was introduced to Fire Engineering after completing her Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland. She enjoys the holistic approach to building design and the opportunity to provide safety to others.

Kirsty is working on a wide range of projects in the retail, residential and industrial sectors. This includes both new and existing buildings.

She joined the Crossfire team in October 2020 and has completed her Masters of Engineering Studies endorsed in Fire at the University of Canterbury while working full time. Her favourite course to date is the study of Human Behaviour in Fire as it gives an interesting insight regarding how people think.

Outside of work Kirsty enjoys long distance running and skiing at her local ski field, Whakapapa.
